ENTRY LEVEL POSITION

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
3.0 GPA in Structures Courses
EIT Certification Preferred

A position is available in our firm for a qualified civil engineering student having a course concentration in structures upon graduation. Applicant must have taken courses in structural analysis, steel design, and concrete design and have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA in structures courses. A working knowledge of AutoCAD and basic computer skills are required. Applicants should have an interest in new & rehabilitative analysis and design for commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's Degree Preferred)
2 to 6 Years of Structural Experience
EIT Certification Required (PE License Massachusetts Preferred)

A position is available in our firm for an experienced structural engineer for a wide variety of projects in both new and existing structures. Responsibilities will consist of project involvement from inception through construction completion, including - but not limited to - proposal writing, design development, meetings with clients, final design, design review, construction document production, construction observations, and report writing. Site visits before and during construction to gather information on existing conditions and to observe work in progress are a common part of this position and require the ability to access buildings and construction sites. The candidate should have experience with various building materials (steel, concrete, wood, & masonry) and must be capable of solving design problems related to unique existing conditions and design constraints. Our engineers do much of thier own drafting so AutoCAD experience is a must (Revit Structure is a plus). Experience with design software similar to RAM Elements, EnerCalc, and Tekla TEDDS is strongly desired.
