Mark A. Procopio is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts − Lowell, where he recieved his Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Concentration. His studies included Advanced Strength of Materials, Structural Stability, Advanced Steel Design, Behavior of Concrete Structures, and the Design of Wood Structures.

MASS. RELEASES NEW BUILDING CODE AMENDMENTS
Massachusetts State Building Code 8th Edition
Revised front-end amendments to the MSBC 8th Edition have been released. The revisions include a change in the design criteria for the wind design loads applied to residential structures as well as an updated 'Ground Snow loads, Basic Wind Speeds, Earthquake Design Factors' table.
